Gifting A New Soccer Uniform Could Change A Child's Future | 多一件球服，少一个囚徒

We are praising God for the ability to reach many young people through our Soccer Ministry at Living Hope Global Ministries.  We give God the glory for making this dream a reality and for our success in Him.

Currently in the city of Langue Valle, Honduras, we are the first evangelical church that has a ministry through the sport of soccer. This soccer ministry program is made possible by Living Hope Global Ministries and the desire to share Christ with our youth in our churches and from our streets.

Young people can know Jesus in a fun and simple way, but also in a real and tangible way. To give examples to our youth that living for God is joyous.  Because Living Hope provided us with brand new soccer team sportswear, we have a group of girls that started with 8 and now have grown to 26.  We began with a group of 15 boys who in a short time have grown to 32.

Before each game we join on the field, and we pray and commune with God. We take some time to read the scriptures and share our thoughts together. It allows a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with Christ followers to share together and evangelize with those who may not know Jesus. We end with prayer requests from our youth, and close in prayer - again showing these young people they can talk with God and take their burdens to him.

In our region there are very few interested in supporting young people, and there are not many options to train young people in their walk with God. Even less opportunities to reach out into the community and lead more to Christ.  We have been asking God for a field where we can play and teach in an enjoyable, carefree way, and God has answered our prayers. It is a blessing that Living Hope Global Ministries has come from so far to motivate us in this brilliant idea of loving young people enough to invest in their salvation.  We thank God for LHGM’s contribution to the local school for the construction of a sports field where our ministry can hold practices when the school is not in use.

We have been in prayer to one day have a LHGM field.  Here, in Langue, we are very happy because every day we feel God taking us closer. We feel a 2nd children’s center and a soccer field is within reach with God’s guidance.  I am confident God will continue to bless and grow this ministry with land. We will then plant seeds, not only for grass to play on, but the seeds we spread in young people. A growing love for the Lord planted in every young person who steps on the soccer field.

If we invest in children and young people today, tomorrow we will have healthy Christ followers and a different society.

目前，在洪都拉斯的Langue地区，我们是第一个通过足球运动开展事工的福音派教会。由于对我们教会的年轻人和来自我们街道的青少年分享基督是新希望全球事工和我们教会共同的愿望，这促使我们推动足球事工成为现实。

通过足球事工，年轻人不仅有机会以一种有趣而简单的方式认识了耶稣，更让他们感受到与耶稣的关系是真实并且可以经历到的。这让我们的青少年们明白为上帝而活是喜乐的。因为新希望机构为我们提供了崭新的足球队全套运动服装，我们成立了一个女子足球队女孩/年轻女生，最初由8人组成，现在已经增长到26人。我们开始时有一个15个男生的足球队，在短时间内已经增长到32人。

在每场比赛之前，我们聚集在球场上一起祷告并与上帝交通。我们会花一些时间阅读经文并分享我们的想法。这使得基督徒们可以在真诚和放松的氛围下一起向那些不认识耶稣的青少年分享福音。最后，我们会请青少年们分享他们的代祷事项，并在祷告中结束，希望向这些年轻人表明他们可以与上帝交谈并将自己的重担交给他。

在我们的地区，很少有人对支持年轻人感兴趣，所以也没有太多机会教导年轻人走在上帝的道路上。更没有机会去走进社区去带领青少年认识基督。我们一直在向上帝祷告，希望拥有一个愉快、无忧无虑地踢球和教导的场地。现在上帝已经回应了我们的祷告。新希望宣教团队从那么远的地方来，想出如此绝妙的想法，就是为了把爱带给这些孩子，更拯救他们的灵魂。非常感谢新希望为当地学校捐款建设了一个运动场地，当学校不使用时，我们的事工就可以在那里进行训练。

我们一直在祈求在Langue地区能有一块属于新希望的球场。我们非常高兴，因为我们感受到上帝正在把我们带向这个目标。我们感到在上帝的引导下，第二个儿童中心和一个足球场已经近在眼前。我相信上帝将继续祝福并带领这个事工，也将给我们一块土地。然后我们将在那里播种，不仅是为了踢球的草地，还有我们在年轻人心里播下福音的种子。在每个踏上足球场地的年轻人心中种下对上帝的热爱。

我们请求你们为这个事工中的每一个人祷告。如果我们今天投资给儿童和年轻人，明天我们将收获一群爱主的基督徒，让这个社会不再一样。

求上帝祝福让这个事工成为现实的人们。
